Why We Love Hosting Flower Arranging Classes
At Stems Flower Shop, we believe flowers are meant to be shared — not just in arrangements, but in experiences! Since 2019, our little flower shop has been bringing creativity and color to flower arranging classes all across Central Iowa, from small private parties of 5 to big, laughter-filled groups of 50.
Yesterday, we had an absolute blast hosting a class at WineStyles in Ankeny — the perfect setting for blooms, wine, and lots of smiles. We love seeing people relax, laugh, and walk away with something beautiful they created themselves.
Our flower classes aren’t just about making pretty arrangements — they’re about creativity and a touch of floral therapy. Whether it’s a girls’ night out, a corporate team event, or a seasonal workshop, we love bringing people together through flowers. What we love most about these classes is how they connect us with our amazing Central Iowa community. From local businesses who open their doors to host us, to the friendly faces who come back again and again, every event reminds us why we do what we do. Each class is a chance to meet new people, share stories, and celebrate creativity — one bouquet at a time.
